7 Day Diet Plan

Reducing weight in just 7 days time is a challenging job, as you have to strictly abide by the diet plan. Your body is used to your current lifestyle since quite some time now, and suddenly bringing a drastic change in your eating habits can bring about some health-related issues like weakness, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, and stomach cramps. Therefore, it is best to plan ahead of time before you plan on starting with this diet, so that the change is not a drastic one. You must drink seven to eight glasses of water daily while following this diet.

How to Lose Weight in 7 Days?

» Day 1

You should begin your first day with plenty of fruits. Make sure you do not include bananas. They increase the calorie intake, because they are rich in carbohydrates. Half cup of cucumber is a good option to add in your diet. Strictly avoid drinking packaged fruit juices, as they will add calories to your daily intake. A bowl of cabbage soup or tomato soup is good to eat for lunch or dinner.

» Day 2

On the second day, you eat all kinds of vegetables, raw or boiled. Vegetables are great sources of carbohydrates. They provide you with all the necessary nutrients. Lunch can comprise a club sandwich, having lettuce and tomato. A boiled potato along with a boiled vegetable (without frying) can be consumed for dinner. Protein-rich foods like beans and nuts are to be avoided.

» Day 3

On the third day, eat a mixture of fruits and vegetables. By the third day, your body has adjusted to this food regime, and it initiates the process of cutting those extra calories. The combination of fruits and vegetables will provide you with all the essential nutritional requirements. In your lunch or dinner, a bowlful of veggies and few pieces of cucumber can be consumed. Any vegetable juice of your choice (preferably one cup) can be a part of your diet. Avoid eating bananas, peas, and sweet corn as they are high in calories.

» Day 4

You can have six to eight bananas on the fourth day. You can have pasta for your breakfast, along with a glass of milk. Incorporate any vegetable soup of your choice, either in lunch or dinner. Ensure that you drink vegetable juice in a limited quantity. Bananas and milk will provide you with calcium, magnesium, and potassium which your body has lost in the last three days.

» Day 5

On the fifth day, include chicken and fish. A piece of baked chicken or a broiled fish can be included, either in your lunch or dinner. For vegetarians, steamed cabbage and any protein source, such as beans sprouts, is a good option to eat. Tomatoes combat against various body infections, as they are known blood purifiers. So, you can eat five to six tomatoes that day. Steamed cabbage is also helpful in weight loss.

» Day 6

The sixth day will include two pieces of toasted breads for breakfast, on which you can put low-fat spread or margarine on both the breads. Lunch should consist of boiled vegetables, along with one cup of boiled rice. Dinner should comprise salad, a bowl of soup, and few steaks of beef. One may also include sprouts, as they are good sources of iron.

» Day 7

The last day includes brown rice, vegetables, and soup. You can add parsley leaves, garlic, and herbs to add more taste to your food. Fruits juices are good to keep you hydrated but drink juices that contain less amount of sugar. It is always advisable that foods rich in calories should be avoided on your seventh day.

While you are following this diet, you can have green tea or lemon tea during snack time. Keep yourself away from alcohol and carbonated drinks. Say ‘no’ to chocolates and ice-creams. Low calorie snacks can be incorporated twice daily. Make sure that your body consumes at least 1200 calories per day, as eating a low calorie diet is also not recommended. With all these guidelines, you can consider this process to be one of the fastest way to lose weight in a week. In case, you don’t see the results fast, be patient, as the body’s metabolic rate differs from individual to individual.
